What can we assume about you?
While we'd all like to answer, "Nothing!" the reality of brand perception in America is much more stark. We are innundated with both welcome and unwelcome marketing from all directions. (Maybe we are truly relieved to see that Starbucks sign but less excited to take that sales call during dinner.) Like-it-or-not, we are forced to make snap judgements on brands by how they present themselves in person, on cards and signs, and online.
Are you consistent?
Consumers trust consistency. It's not just whether or not your business cards match your letterhead, which is important. If your corporate branding says one thing, but your office, trucks, uniforms, representatives, techs, staff, etc. are broadcasting a different message, consumers are going to distrust your business. On the other hand, people assume how you do anything is how you do everything. A consistent, professional, and attractive brand goes a long way toward building consumer confidence.
What about the technical stuff?
Larger companies have a logo use guide or brand guide to instruct designers, printers, sign makers, promotional items companies, etc. on how to use their brands. At World & Web, we will provide your logo, tagline, and logo bug (if appropriate) in multiple formats and complimentary color combinations. So you never get caught off guard whether you need a one-color TIFF for a stressball or a four-color EPS file for a full-color billboard.
